Dear Prospective Member,

We are delighted that you are interested in Temple Beth Emeth. We hope you will join our temple family! TBE provides a vibrant and caring Jewish community that values engagement, education, music, spiritual life and social opportunities. We are particularly proud of the fact that our religious school programming and musical offerings have been successful at engaging our youth in Jewish life and study, and that many of our teens maintain involvement in temple life through high school and beyond.

Along with this letter you will find information about our congregation and an application for membership. If you would like, one of us from the membership committee would be happy to talk to you, as well.

If you want to attend any of our services or other events, you are welcome to do so. Call or email me, and I will help you decide on an event that will be best for you. I will also arrange for a temple member to accompany you, if you would like.

Should you decide to pursue membership, just complete the application and commitment forms (listed below). Please contact SooJi Min, the temple executive director, at 734-665-4744 with any questions about your financial commitment to the temple. All financial information is confidential and we follow the principles of the "Fair Share Program" developed by the Union for Reform Judaism. Each member family is asked to contribute on the basis of financial circumstance. No one is refused membership for financial reasons.

We hope you will make Temple Beth Emeth your spiritual home. If you have questions, do not hesitate to contact me. If you have specific questions for Rabbi Whinston, Cantor Hayut, Terri Ginsburg (Director of Education) or SooJi Min (Executive Director), call the temple office at 734-665-4744.

I look forward to meeting you!
