Description:

Hop on the Bus on April 15...to See Jewish Detroit with Us

Don’t miss the chance to join the Renaissance Group on Sunday, April 15 for a tour by bus of many sites that have defined more than two centuries of Jewish life in Detroit. Participants will leave Arborland Mall in carpools at 12 noon for the Jewish Historical Society of Michigan on Maple Road in West Bloomfield. The tour will begin at 1 p.m. and end at 5 p.m.
Thanks to the Historical Society and its docent, Detroit native Ruthe Goldstein, the “Tour of Jewish Detroit” will include such highlights as Albert Kahn architecture, Moishe House and a visit to the former home of Shaarey Zedek Synagogue, as well as neighborhoods central to generations of Jewish Detroiters.

To sign up for the tour, contact Carol Dworkin dworkin.carol@gmail.com or 996-0247.
