Advocacy and Information: Each year the SAC focuses on long-standing and newer programs involving advocacy efforts, social justice, and exploration of pertinent issues. These efforts change year to year, and we hope that the congregation will take an interest in these projects. We welcome congregants to bring ideas for new projects to discuss at our yearly retreat.
Jewish Social Justice Resources: Organizations include American Jewish World Service (AJWS), Rabbis for Human Rights, URJ Social Action Committee, URJ Religious Action Center (RAC), and the Israel Religious Action Center (IRAC)
Other noteworthy Social Action/Justice programs: We invite TBE members to submit information on organizations in our community, nationally, or abroad that work towards fulfilling the mission of Tikkun Olam and we will select a few to feature every few months. Those listed here are from our own SAC members.
