Community Forum on Refugees
Thursday, March 23 | 7-9 pm | TBE
These are uncertain times for refugee resettlement in the USA.
Please join us to learn more about the most up-to-date mandates and policies,
how it impacts refugees and JFS's resettlement work as well as community efforts and opportunities for
engagement here in Washtenaw County. Staff from JFS (our county's only State Department recognized resettlement agency),
a representative from Governor Snyder's office, local clergy and more will address the
community at this important meeting.
Friday, March 24
Tot Shabbat Dinner | 6 pm & Shabbat Achat Service | 6:30 pm
Instead of a separate tot Shabbat and a traditional service,
there will be one Shabbat service called Shabbat Achat - one community shabbat.
There will be music from our temple band and extra space on our sanctuary floor
for people to move around, to have more of a physical prayer experience
and get their bodies involved. The service will be upbeat, lots of fun
and about an hour long.

Yin yoga is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures, or asanas,
