Join a new and exciting nature, social, and ecological group now forming in Southwest Michigan. Jewish Hikers of Michigan (JHOM) is sponsored by Temple Beth Emeth's Caring Community and is open to anyone. These hikes are designed to cultivate the love of nature, spirituality, social and physical activities.

Sunday, July 19, 2009, 11 am hike:

 

Jewish Hikers of Michigan (JHOM) is announcing the fifth hiking event of the season. Our hikes are designed to cultivate the love of nature, spirituality, social interaction and physical activities.  They are targeted for anybody who loves nature, and who likes to meet new people.

 

Our fifth event of the season will take place on Sunday, July 19, 2009 at 11:00am at the Ann Arbor Arboretum
 
Bring your back packs, munchies, and water. Activity will last approximately 1-1/2 to 2 hours. Our hikes are not physically demanding, are very scenic - and are free.

Parking is easy:  As you turn from Observatory onto Washington Heights, there is a big "Blue Lot" on your right.  It is open to the public and is free on Sundays.  DO NOT park at the Ronald McDonald House.

It should be noted that based on a few requests from hikers, that we have declared our hikes pet-free.

Also, please be reminded that all hikes are organized on a voluntary basis, under sponsorship of Temple Beth Emeth in Ann Arbor, and all hikers participating in our activity are responsible for their own safety.
