Mitzvah Day is on Saturday, May 1, 2010

Mitzvah Day Schedule:
9-Noon...1st Shift
Noon-1:00 Lunch for both shifts
1:00-4:00...2nd Shift
For more than 10 years, Temple Beth Emeth has had a "Mitzvah Day" where congregants of all ages participate in a variety of tikkun olam projects to help repair the world.
This year, we are partnering with Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley.
Relax....We aren’t planning to build a house in a day!
This year marks the 20th anniversary of Habitat for Humanity’s work in Washtenaw County. We will be working with homeowners and staff painting, landscaping and doing small repairs at Habitat for Humanity Huron Valley's oldest and largest neighborhood in Ypsilanti near Perry School.
Join in at either the morning (9-noon) or afternoon (1-4) shift, and all are welcome for lunch and a service at noon.
Our goal is to have everyone participate in some way. Please consider donating your time and monetary support. Your financial contribution will help cover the cost of Mitzvah Day: supplies, activities for children, and lunch for all. We have several projects for all ages. Questions? Contact Marty Ludington (mludington@albion.edu) or Marjorie Lesko (mwlesko@adjunctadvocate.com)
