Ann Zibelman Rose has served as cantor of Temple Beth Emeth since 1994. In 1976 she became one of the first women in the United States to hold a major cantorial pulpit, Baltimore's Har Sinai Congregation. In 1981, she and her husband, conductor/composer Theodore Morrison, moved to Northampton, Massachusetts, where she served as cantor of the Jewish Community of Amherst, as well as being the featured mezzo-soprano of Project Opera of Western Massachusetts. After studying music theory and composition with Nadia Boulanger for two years in Paris, Cantor Rose earned two Master of Music degrees from Peabody Conservatory, in voice and conducting. She has served on the voice and music theory faculties of Goucher College and Amherst College.

Dr. Ray McLellan has been the accompanist of Kol Halev since 1992. A native of Florida, he has concertized throughout the United States and in Belgium, The Netherlands, Germany, and Canada. Dr. McLellan received his Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Michigan, where he also served as University Carillonneur. He is currently University Carillonneur at Michigan State University. In addition to his studies at the University of Michigan, Dr. McLellan also studied organ in Freiburg, Germany, and carillon at The Netherlands Carillon School, in Amersfoort, The Netherlands.
