Caring Community
The Temple Beth community is here for you in times of joy, sorrow, and need. Our Caring Community volunteers are eager to serve members of our community who are in need of some extra help. Whether you've experienced a recent loss, you are recovering from surgery, or have experienced some other medical emergency, TBE is here to help.
There are times when family members are caring for loved ones in the hospital and may need a home cooked meal to help things feel a little more "normal." We can help with that.
Some of our members need some extra visits when feeling isolated due to weather, health issues, or maybe a global pandemic. We can help with that as well.
Our rabbi and cantor are here for your spiritual and emotional needs. Both Rabbi Josh Whinston and Cantor Regina Lambert-Hayut would love a chance to get to know you better and hear about the things that are going on in your life.
In collaboration with Jewish Family Service of Washtenaw County, Temple Beth Emeth also has a Social Worker, Rebecca Nieubuurt, on staff to help address more acute needs.
If you would like to volunteer your time and be on a list of members who offer to cook or visit with isolated community members, please contact the office at tbe@templebethemeth.org or 734-665-4744.
