In this 3-week mini-series led by Rabbi Chelsea, we will explore both religious and historical texts on to workers' rights and the relationship of Jews to the American Labor Movement. The first class will focus on traditional sacred sources; the second on the living conditions and early organizing efforts of Jewish immigrants in the US; the third on the appeal and rejection of socialist and communist ideologies. This class is offered twice each day; please register for the one you intend to attend most often, though you are welcome to change the method and time that you come in any given week.
