Why not make this Thanksgiving a Mitzvah time? We need LOTS of volunteers for the Rotating Shelter and here is the sign up link.

Be part of the volunteer group helping to house the homeless during Thanksgiving Week, Nov. 25 - Dec. 1. The Washtenaw County Shelter Association organizes overnight, temporary shelters at various religious congregations throughout the Ann Arbor area. TBE and St. Clare’s have been active members of this collaborative for over 10 years. 

Volunteers from TBE, St. Clare’s and Blue Ocean Faith will host up to 25 men by providing dinner and snacks, socializing and sleeping over at TBE.

We need some volunteers in the following areas:

1. dinner and snacks

2. socializing with the men during the evening hours, 8pm – 9:30pm – this activity is open to families as well as individuals – you can bring board games or cards or a musical instrument, or just hang out and chat!

3. sleeping over at TBE (in a separate room from the men)
